Actress Sofía Vergara is rumored to be dating seven-time Formula One racing champion Lewis Hamilton after the two were spotted having lunch in New York City on Tuesday (January 14), TMZ reports.
Vergara, 52, and Hamilton, 40, were seen in multiple paparazzi photos, which included one of the two smiling while standing outside. Sources denied that the two were a couple, however, claiming they were instead having lunch with a big group of friends, TMZ clarified in an update on Wednesday (January 15).
Vergara confirmed she was single earlier this month after recently dating orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, telling Access Hollywood she was manifesting "health, money [and] a boyfriend" in 2025. The former Modern Family actress was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello from 2015 to 2024 and her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, whom she shares a son with, from 1991 to 1993.
Hamilton is widely regarded as Formula One racing's biggest star with a joint-record World Drivers' Championship titles -- tied with FIA Hall of Famer Michael Schumacher -- as well as the most wins (105), pole positions (104) and podium finishes (202) in history. The English driver previously dated singer Nicole Scherzinger and was previously romantically liked to singer Shakira and model Irina Shayk.
