SPOKANE, Wash. -A jury was unable to reach a verdict in the murder trial against Colby Vodder. Vodder was on trial for the 2015 killing of Bret Snow.
Snow was murdered inside a garage in Newman Lake. His body was never found. It's one of the few cases where a body has never been found.
The jury deliberated in the case against 28-year-old Vodder for two days. The jury reported Wednesday in court that they couldn't reach a unanimous verdict. The presiding juror told KHQ they couldn't reach a verdict on the two murder charges, and found him not guilty on a kidnapping charge.
Vodder was the first of four defendants to go to trial in the Bret Snow case.
