SPOKANE, Wash. -Pictures of destroyed Lime bikes have been surfacing on social media over the past couple of days, and it's worrisome to those excited about the new bike share program.

One picture shows a bike that appears to be disassembled and left in a trash can. Another picture shows two Lime bikes tangled together.

KHQ reached out to Lime who say, despite those images, things are going well.

While they could not provide exact numbers for bikes lost or damaged, a spokesperson tells KHQ about one-percent of their overall stock goes missing.

In Spokane, there are about 300 bikes and scooters, so three bikes is one-percent.

Lime also says in the last week, the bikes and scooters have been used more than 10,000 times and riders have logged 5,000 miles.
