KELLOGG, Idaho -Law enforcement from across Shoshone County need your help finding someone responsible who they say started over a dozen fires Monday night in Kellogg.

Though the fires were small, they want to put an end to whoever caused it.

Officials say the first fire call came in at 7:30 p.m. at the Division Street Bridge in Kellogg.

Then, police say the suspected arsonist went past the Greenwood Cemetery and into a wooded area and that’s where a bulk of the fires was set.

13 fires in total started by someone.

“Guy, gal, we have no information at this time,” Kjell Truesdell said.

Kjell Truesdell is the Idaho Department of Lands Fire Warden for the Cataldo Forest Protection District.

Truesdell says the fires were small and manageable, only adding up to about an acre.

But police and firefighters were taxed fighting the spot fires and now need the publics help finding the arsonist.

“It’s going to take a concerted effort," Truesdell said, “we have multiple agencies acting on it and we're going to need a lot of help from the residents."

If you have any information on the arsonist, you are urged to call the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office.
