SPOKANE, Wash. -Spokane Police are in search for a person involved in a stabbing on the South Hill that sent one person to the hospital Thursday night.
Police tell KHQ they got a call from a woman around 9:30 p.m. Thursday saying she had just been stabbed at a park behind the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center. She was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers are combing the area searching for a suspect using a K-9 and collecting evidence from the scene.
It's unknown right now what led up to the stabbing, but police say they don't believe there's any threat to people in the area.
