SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -A new brush fire broke out in Spokane County Sunday night, prompting firefighters to rush to the scene. The estimated 20 acre fire is burning off of Pine Bluff Road in the Seven Mile area, which is north of Airway Heights.

As of around 7:00 p.m. the fire is 100 percent contained.

Firefighters have called it the Seven Bluff Fire. According to the Washington State DNR, two 20-person crews, one helicopter, and five engines responded.

City of Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer said there is some tough terrain to work on. "The fire at one point was torching a number of trees. It was in timber. It was moving very quick. We'll be here throughout this evening likely within the next 48 hours," said Schaeffer.

Nobody is in danger and no evacuations have been put in place.
