SPOKANE, Wash. -Spokane Police say one man was taken to the hospital following a shooting overnight that left him with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened just after midnight near E. Rowan and N. Cook in Hillyard. When officers arrived they found a man on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head. He is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers tell KHQ the shooting was not random and the shooter is in custody.
SPD is asking anyone who may have been in the area when shots were fired to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
