After a string of car break-ins and burglaries last week, police in Spirit Lake say they have arrested two people for the crimes.
The break-ins happened overnight on Wednesday, May 16th. Six total burglaries were reported to police in the area of Jefferson and 3rd Avenue. After a thorough investigation, Spirit Lake officers were able to identify and charge two suspects.
A juvenile, who will not be named, and 18-year-old Steven E. Borja of Post Falls were both charged with six felony counts of burglary.
Spirit Lake Police thanked the community for their helpful information and reporting suspicious activity to help in the investigation of cases such as these.
