Eugene Jupp was officially charged with second-degree murder Wednesday.
Jupp was formally charged with first -degree murder in District Court, but the charges changed when the case was transferred to Superior Court.
KHQ has made phone calls to the prosecutor's office to find out why. As of Wednesday, we are still awaiting a return phone call.
Jupp's bond was set at $1 million. His next court appearance is on May 23 and 9 a.m.
