It has been confirmed that there is a body in the water that authorities are now trying to retrieve.
Officials say the person fell from the top of the falls, which is approximately 200 feet.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is on the scene.
Palouse Falls State Park is now closed.
Last month, a Spokane man died while swimming at the falls, and last year another man slipped and fell to his death.
