LEWISTON, Idaho -Deputies from the Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office in Lewiston confirm that they have recovered a man's body from the Snake River.
Below is a press release sent out on Sunday:
On 05/06/2018 at approximately 1500 hours, the Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office was informed of a deceased male in his early to mid 50's floating in the Snake River just south of the Southway Bridge on the Idaho side. The body was retrieved and taken to the Coroner's Office for further investigation. Identification of the male has been confirmed but will not be released until next of kin is notified. Lewiston Police Department and Fire Department assisted in the incident. Case pending.
