Spokane Police say Downtown Neighborhood Conditions Officers following up on Monday's stabbing outside the House of Charity were able to locate the suspect in front of the shelter on Tuesday.
The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Dennis P. McElyea. McElyea has been arrested, charged with first degree assault.
He has been booked into Spokane County Jail.
