Washington State Patrol Troopers say one person is dead following a crash on I-90 west of Spokane near the Cheney-Tyler exit.
According to WSP, 45-year-old Tamara Wilkins was pronounced dead at the scene. 88-year-old Virginia Haas and 64-year-old Barbara Proffitt were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-90 near milepost 259, about 20 miles west of Spokane. The Washington State Patrol says Wilkins tried to pass another car, lost control and rolled the SUV.
Trooper Jeff Sevigney urges motorists who may have to travel that way to use caution through the area.
