Boater missing on Lake Coeur d'Alene

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office Dive Rescue Team has been actively searching Lake Coeur d'Alene in the area of Powderhorn Bay for a 68-year-old man identified as Larry D. Isenberg. He had reportedly fallen into the lake.

At 10:25 a.m., the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from Laurcene B. Isenberg stating that Larry Isenberg had fallen into the lake while trying to repair a problem with one of the motors on the boat they were in. Laurcene attempted for some time to find Larry on her own, but was unsuccessful.

Members of the Eastside Fire District were the first to arrive in the area just before 11 a.m. when Larry was last seen. Dive team members arrived a short time later and began searching.

Four Kootenai County Sheriff's Office boats have been deployed to search the area along with another boat from the fire district.

Additional details were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon. As we learn more we will update this story.
