SPOKANE, Wash. -Spokane fire crews responded to a house fire Monday night about 7:30pm in North Spokane, at York and Wall.
Crews say it appears the f the fire started outside, at the front of the home, and then moved into the interior. Crews had to get on the roof to get access to the fire, and say there's a lot of smoke damage.
There were two people inside, roommates, and they got out safe, along with a pet bird.
Fire crews tell us the cause is under investigation.
