Spokane Police have made an arrest in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that happened late Saturday night in north Spokane.
Saturday night, a woman was crossing the street near Holland and N. Colton when she was struck by a pickup. The truck took off and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Late Sunday night, an officer spotted a truck near Buckeye and Lee Street that matched the description of the truck witnesses reported fleeing the scene on Saturday night. The officer stopped the truck and noticed it had damage consistent with the fatal collision.
A Major Crimes investigator showed up and confirmed the truck was missing parts that were left at the scene.
36-year-old Bobby F. Bowerman was arrested for the fatal hit-and-run.
