SPOKANE, Wash. -One person is in the hospital after being hit by a car in east Spokane.
It happened around 9 p.m. on the Green Street Bridge near SCC.
Officers tell KHQ that the person was trying to cross the street when they were struck by a car heading north.
The driver and a nearby witness rendered aid until paramedics arrived.
The person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
There is a crosswalk nearby, but officers aren't sure if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk or not at the time the accident occurred.
Weather appears to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation.
