SPRINGDALE, Wash. -The Mary Walker School District sent out an alert to staff, students, and parents Sunday night cancelling school on Monday due to a safety concern.
Superintendent Rick Winters tells KHQ they are cancelling all classes and activities because of a safety concern that police told them about.
However, he says they don't believe there is a current threat to staff or students. He says they are taking precautions.
Classes will resume on Tuesday.
