CDA police search for suspect accused of robbing 91-year-old

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -The following is a Press Release from Coeur d'Alene Police: “Today at approximately 4:45 p.m., Coeur d’Alene Police Officers responded to the 2800 block of N 15th St for a robbery that just occurred. 

The victim, a 91 year old female, had just parked her car and was getting out when she was approached by a white male. The male grabbed the victim’s purse and after a very brief struggle, took off running. The victim was taken to Kootenai Health for minor injuries sustained during this incident.

The suspect was described as a thin white male, between 5’08” and 6’00” tall. He was wearing a dark colored baseball hat and a dark colored jacket or sweatshirt. He was last seen northbound on 15th St in a tan colored SUV.

The attached photographs are a person of interest in this investigation. Anyone with information about this person’s identity or any other information related to this investigation is urged to contact the Coeur d’Alene Police Department immediately.”
