A south Spokane high school football coach has been suspended.
Jim Sharkey, the head coach at Ferris, is being investigated for allegedly exposing himself to players at a camp last summer. Sharkey told the Spokesman-Review that the allegations are false and denied that the incident took place.
Public documents obtained by the newspaper show a district official wrote in September she was unable to substantiate allegations. He was given a written reprimand for allowing alcohol to be consumed in front of students at the camp.
Sharkey was placed on administrative leave February 1st after more players came forward with complaints.
He has vowed to fight the claims.
