Sherman Pass, Wash. -A 53-year-old man was killed Sunday after a crash involving a motorcycle and transit van. The crash happened on State Route 20, just before 6pm on Sunday, about 14 miles east of Republic.
WSP Troopers say that Donald Evans, of Republic, lost control of his motorcycle and crossed the center line. He hit the transit van, which was being driven by 31-year-old Juan Carbajal. Carbajal was injured in the crash, but they were not life-threatening injuries.
Troopers had State Route 20 shut down for hours as they investigated, but it has since reopened.
