GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -Update July 2 8 a.m.: The Grant County Sheriff's Office said in a tweet Monday morning that fire crews worked into the early morning hours to get a fire burning in Quincy under control. Firefighters will remain on scene Monday to strengthen fire lines.

There are level one evacuation notices that have been put in place in Grant County for a wildfire burning in Quincy.
It's happening on Road R Access off of Road 3 NW in a very rural area. Crews say the Quincy fire has jumped from burning 100 acres to 500 acres and it's moving to the south.
Grant County deputies say all homes close to it, have been notified of the evacuations. Several firefighters are on scene.
Crews say they are having difficulty containing the fire due to strong winds.
