All lanes of Highway 195 near Plaza were blocked Wednesday morning for a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck.
An area of the road was closed to one lane for construction.
Flaggers were letting cars go by when a driver of a semi-truck plowed into the line of cars after not seeing the flagger.
One car was trapped underneath the semi.
There are very serious injuries and one woman was lifeflighted to a hospital.
Northbound traffic is being detoured at Rosalia to the Old US 195, while southbound traffic is being detoured at Plaza to the Old US 195. Motorists should expect major delays until Wednesday night.
