SPOKANE, Wash. -Spokane firefighters confirmed Sunday that a man died Sunday while on the Bloomsday course.
Brian Schaeffer, Spokane Fire Department Fire Chief, said the 72-year-old man went into cardiac arrest during the Bloomsday run. Fire crews responded and did CPR and other lifesaving measures, but they were unsuccessful.
Additional details were not immediately available Sunday night.
