New Details Emerge As The Search For Missing Wisconsin Teen Intensifies

Investigators are continuing their frantic search for a missing 13-year-old girl from Wisconsin. Jayme Closs was reported missing on Monday (10/15) after police found both of her parents, James, and Denise, murdered in their home. Local and federal investigators have interviewed hundreds of people, and Jayme is at the top of the FBI's missing persons list.

Authorities have released logs from a 911 call which was made from Denise's cell phone. She did not speak to police, but the dispatcher could hear shouting and what sounded like a struggle going on in the background.

The logs indicate that when officers arrived at the home they reported that James was shot and killed after answering the door, which had been kicked in. When they went inside they discovered the body of Denise.

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said that authorities have received thousands of tips and interviewed hundreds of people as they work hard to locate Jayme.

"We are hopeful to learn more about the Closs family to help bring Jayme home," Fitzgerald said in a statement. "If you spent time with members of the Closs family recently, or if you have ever had a misunderstanding with members of the Closs family, or know someone who has, please call the tipline."
