>>NBA Summer League
I must have missed something. When did covering the NBA Summer League become a big deal? It's not that I don't enjoy it. Thanks to NBA TV I've been watching the league for years. It's a great way to watch the local guys try to make the league. But we are now updating the scores and stats like it's a game that means something. It's a practice game full of college players and league bench players. It's not exactly like any of these guys are scoring over Lebron. So can we please enjoy it but stop reporting on it as if Kelly Olynyk's 12 points and 7 rebounds in 15 minutes of play in the Boston's 102-83 win over Orlando meant anything.
Spokane lost to Salem-Keiser 6-2 last night. Suffering back to back losses for the first time in two weeks. Spokane drops to 15-13. 7 games back of Everett in the North Division. The Volcanoes are in first place in the South Division with an 18-10 record. Same two teams tonight in Oregon.
The Spokane Shock stayed in Florida following last week's win in Florida against Tampa. It's a 4pm kickoff today as the playoff bound Shock take on Jacksonville.
